First, install and activate the OceanWP child theme.

Turn off elementor colors and type and use the OceanWP settings to start with.
Examine and get clear on what you get with the theme only,
Walk through the customizer, and examine the settings
Look at metaboxes in a ‘page edit’ page
and in a ‘post edit’ page
OceanWP provides a metabox on the edit page to control aspects of the individual page.
